Jul 20, 2013 · This work presents an experimental evaluation of residual stresses in low carbon hot-rolled ASTM A36 steels plates generated by the milling process using acoustoelasticity. Selected ranges of the machining parameters:the cutting speed (v c), feed per tooth (f z), and depth of cut (a p), were chosen. Varying those parameters, the stress caused by the milling process was measured. Experimental Study of the Cutting Processes on the cuts, it is determined that the cuts with milling and cutting machines are better suited to the requirements they affect the material to a lesser extent and are very common in the industry and at a lower cost. 4.
